Do I need to bring my own guitar to the first lesson?
No! While it’s best to practice on your own instrument at home, my studio is fully stocked with high-quality spare acoustic and electric guitars, as well as amps and leads.
What styles of music do you teach?
I teach a broad range of genres, including Rock, Indie, Pop, Acoustic, Blues and Contemporary Styles. We focus on the music you actually want to play.
Do you offer guitar exam preparation?
Yes. I regularly prepare students for Trinity, RSL (Rock School), and ABRSM grades with a 100% pass rate, including high distinction rates for Grade 8 candidates. However, exams are completely optional!
I teach freelance within schools such as
Robert Ogden (National Autistic Society) and frequently run ensembles on behalf of
Rock School UK. I also run guitar skills and ensemble groups at
